Abstract

Frida Kahlo is undoubtedly one of the artists who has generated the greatest impact on society, primarily due to her analysis and artistic contributions, in which her artistic work is diagrammed and intertwined with her life experience, the suffering and affliction lived as a result of her accident: the pathological challenges she faced due to health issues led her to perform actions that allowed her to emerge from a sense of life and metaphor that was channeled into art (Enrici, 2018).

Frida Kahlo's work is truly unique and admired throughout the world, a source of pride for many Mexicans who feel represented in her art and the impact it causes in the world (Guerrero, 2018). This denotes a sense of belonging that is explicitly combined with the fusions generated by the realism and symbolism characteristic of her work. Something that especially catches my attention is the Mexican identity she translates into her works, using vibrant colors that denote and symbols characteristic of the culture, which she wore and depicted with great pride in her works (Ávila-Vásquez, 2015).
