Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between auditory stimuli and anxiety and stress responses in university students, with the purpose of developing an instrument called the "Sensory-Perceptual Box" to facilitate the early identification of emotional responses in academic settings. A thorough documentary review of recent scientific literature was conducted, focusing on studies exploring the interaction between auditory stimuli and emotional responses in educational environments. The data collected were analyzed to identify patterns and correlations that support the design and validation of the "Sensory- Perceptual Box." Findings highlight that auditory stimuli play a key role in modulating students' emotions, especially in high academic demand situations. The "Sensory-Perceptual Box" emerges as an innovative and potentially effective tool for assessing students' emotional well-being, promoting a more balanced academic environment. The study is limited to the review of previous studies, which may influence the generalizability of the results due to the variability in the quality and availability of existing literature. The "Sensory-Perceptual Box" represents an original and accessible proposal to assess and manage emotional responses in university students, contributing to mental health interventions in academic settings and fostering a healthier environment.
